Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 400 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Bermuda triangle, the coast of USA from North Carolina to south Florida the Bahamas and north of Puerto Rico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed total body length is 20 cm; carapace length is 4 to 6 cm (Ref. 4). It is found on the outer reefs. The larvae are planktonic (Ref. 4).
