Distribution:  Southern Ocean. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found on surfaces of red and brown algae in subtidal areas where algal distributions are (Ref. 87801). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
