Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coral reefs and adjacent reef flats with abundance of silt-covered rubble. This species is in symbiotic relationship with the whitecap shrimp goby Lotilia graciliosa (Ref. 126368).
