Remarks Occurs in coastal waters up to depths of 218 m (Ref. 95880). Burrows in sand and muddy sand substrates (Ref. 417). Also on hard substrates, reef flats, coral, sand, shell and rock bottoms (Ref. 95880). Observed to open and feed on conchs based on laboratory experiments (Ref. 111684).
