comments Known as one of the breeding grounds with over 200,000 nests per year in La Escobilla, Morro Ayuta, Chacahua, Pedra de Tiacoyunque and Mismaloya-La Gloria. Nesting season occurs from June or July to November or December. Mean number of eggs per clutch is 105.3 eggs for 1,120 nests. Mean egg sizes ranges from 3.91 to 4.06 cm for 71 clutches, 757 eggs. Duration of incubation is around 47 to 58 days. Hatchling size and weight ranges between 3.7 and 4.2 cm with a mean of 3.9 cm; 12 to 21.5 g for 329 individuals. Smallest mature size measured in La Escobilla, 49 cm straight carapace length female.
